I am a licensed acupuncturist in Pleasant Hill and serve the surrounding community. I am a firm believer in taking a holistic approach to healing. Through my practice, I strive to align patients and promote well-being in order to keep the mind, body, and spirit healthy.
Chinese Medicine has a long history, dating back thousands of years. In Chinese Medicine, your physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions are all equally important. Imbalances in any of these areas can contribute to illness. Chinese Medicine treats the whole person, not just the symptoms of the disease.
Acupuncture is one of my tools to help bring balance and harmony back to the body. Other tools include auricular (ear) acupuncture, electrical stimulation, cupping, gua sha, ear seeds, LED light therapy, infrared and TDP light therapy, and herbal medicine.
I use Seirin acupuncture needles, the world's leader in standards of high quality. Seirin needles are made from the highest quality surgical stainless steel. Seirin needles are synonymous with gentle, painless, and stress-free acupuncture.
I carry Evergreen herbal products. From "Seed to Shelf," Evergreen ensures purity, safety, and potency in their herbal extracts by following standards and guidelines set forth by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) of the United States, Japan and Taiwan.

My Journey
My name is Gina Marks and I live in the East Bay. In 2015, I tried acupuncture and was amazed at how much better I felt. Up until that time I had been taking medications to help manage depression and anxiety for ten years. That fall I enrolled at the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences and graduated with a Master of Science of Traditional Chinese Medicine program.
I am a dedicated practitioner of holistic medicine. I love empowering patients to understand their bodies and discover the gentle power of the healing arts.
As a California Licensed Acupuncturist, I enjoy being able to bridge the gap between holistic and western medicine while providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which to help you heal.
